This group is for faculty and allies organizing for peaceful solutions to international conflicts. Established in the aftermath of the events of 9/11, we seek to respond to the rhetoric of war with invocations of peace, justice, and humanity. We believe the professoriate has a crucial (and neglected) role to play in shaping public dialogue in today's United States. We are allied with other movements of people of color, gays, lesbians, trans communities, women, the disabled and the left.
